Dr. Kimberly VanderWaal awarded Outstanding Graduate Advising/Teaching Award

Dr. VanderWaal, an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Population Medicine and a member of the Swine Group here at the University of Minnesota was Outstanding Graduate Advising/Teaching Award at this year’s College of Veterinary Medicine Education Day. Boehringer Ingelheim and the University of Minnesota launched the Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M. hyopneumoniae) Eradication Roadmap on June 5 to equip veterinarians and producers with a holistic resource to inform, prepare and guide them through the M. hyopneumoniae eradication process.

Using swine interstate transport records as a predictor of pathogen spread across the USA
