‘At The Meeting’ Honoring Dr. Bob Morrison talks about COVID-19 and the impacts to key markets and the limitations of pork processors to respond.

Dr. Montserrat Torremorell (College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota), Dr. Gordon Spronk (Pipestone Veterinary Services), and Dr. Tom Wetzell (Swine Veterinary Consultant), are joined by Dr. Brad Freking, CEO and managing partner of New Fashion Pork and a co-owner of Triumph Foods.

Freking says that widespread availability of COVID-19 testing is key to helping employees feel comfortable with going back to work.

“I’ve learned more about processing in the last 15 days than I have in the last five years.”
