Introducing Sarah Vadnais to the MSHMP Group

We are excited to introduce our participants and recipients to Sarah Vadnais who will be working with the Morrison Swine Health Monitoring Project. Sarah is a second year Masters of Public Health student studying health data science and has previously worked in clinical research roles. 

Sarah received a BS in environmental science with minors in Public Health and Statistics at the University of Minnesota and is set to complete their MPH at the University of Minnesota in May 2024. Their graduate research focuses on predicting surgical outcomes using various machine learning models. Sarah has experience with creation and maintenance of research database and analytical skill with various programming software.

Sarah will be joining us as a researcher as of November 2023. As part of the MSHMP team, they will be focusing on data management as well as projects analyzing data from both industry and laboratory. Their interdisciplinary knowledge in health, natural resources, and statistics provides a diverse skill set that will be an asset to both MSHMP and the broader swine industry.
