Pat Hord will start off the Monday morning Keynote session with his talk on adapting to change and building a sustainable future
Dr. Noelle Noyes will take a look at engineering the microbiome and help us answer the question: Can we harness the hidden heroes of livestock production?


Tuesday morning Dean Brian Buhr will give us a look at fifty years of Leman from an economic perspective!
And then there will be a panel discussion you will not want to miss on influenza between Drs. Marie Culhane, Carol Cardona, and Montse Torremorell!

Join us for a fun Beer and Bacon conversation with Dr. Lisa Tokach as she shares insights about swine veterinary medicine and the pork industry. We’ll hear about her perspectives on private practice, farm management, and staying focused on what’s important personally and professionally. She will have a conversation with Dr. Marie Culhane and this session will take place at the InterContinental Hotel. Registration required.

The Opening Reception gives conference guests, speakers, friends and colleagues the opportunity to interact with conference participants and is a great time to check out this year’s posters, all while enjoying delicious food and drink!

This year’s Science in Practice Reception will be at the Science Museum of Minnesota! Join the festivities right after the afternoon sessions are done on Monday.
