University of Minnesota Swine Group in the Press

The Swine Group here at the University has been featured in a number of publications this and last month! Here are a few in case you missed them!

A recent article by Extension educator Diane DeWitte, “Swine & U: Getting deep into PRRS at the U,” detailed collaborative CVM research into the evolution of PRRS virus and identified drivers of genetic diversity. The piece highlights the work of Drs. Kim VanderWaal, Cesar Corzo, and Declan Schroeder. Find it in The Land.

Dr. Montserrat Torremorell was recognized by the Farmer Magazine as part of the issue “Celebrate Women in the Field: Shaping the Future of Agriculture”. Dr. Torremorell discusses biosecurity, research, and the importance of mentoring.
