A recent article by Extension educator Diane DeWitte, “Swine & U: Getting deep into PRRS at the U,” detailed collaborative CVM research into the evolution of PRRS virus and identified drivers of genetic diversity. Dr. Montserrat Torremorell was recognized by the Farmer Magazine as part of the issue “Celebrate Women in the Field: Shaping the Future of Agriculture”. Dr. Torremorell discusses biosecurity, research, and the importance of mentoring.
